Kloe Milbourn, Marketing Lead

Describe your experience working in the electrical/lighting industry.

My dad has been a journeyman lineman my whole life and throughout high school I spent my summers working as a warehouse assistant for Enerstar Electric in my hometown of Paris, Illinois. I interned with All-Phase last summer and following my internship accepted a full time marketing position.

How did you hear/learn about All-Phase Indy? What made you want to join the team?

I met All-Phase Indy at my first career fair in college. I was interested in the business because I was familiar with the electrical industry. And I decided to stay on full time after my internship was over because I developed a lot of respect for the employees. Everyone was welcoming and taught me a good balance between working hard while still having fun.

Briefly describe your job/typical day.

A typical day for me includes creating graphics for promotional flyers, updating information on our company website and social media, as well as making sure our counter room is full and looks nice. I also keep track of specific merchandise sales to judge how a product is doing.

What's the best thing about your job?

The best thing about my job is the freedom to be as creative as I want.

What's one of your proudest moments working at All-Phase Indy?

In the short time I’ve been a full time employee, my proudest moment was a small rearrangement of products I did at the counter that significantly increased sales of that specific product in just three weeks.

What career advice would you give to someone who is looking to enter a similar field as yours?

Stay open to trying and learning new things outside of your comfort zone because that's where I learned what I am best at.

What do you like to do when you're not at the office?

I enjoy trying new breweries around Indy, playing with my English Bulldog, Roy, and listening to crime/mystery podcasts… and shopping!
